Helping Caregivers Map Their Care Connections
Did you know that more than 8.1 million Canadians are currently in the role of being an unpaid caregiver? With support from the Rexall Care Network, Pallium Canada is pleased to be expanding access to the Atlas CareMap Toolkit. Atlas CareMaps help caregivers make the invisible visible. Many caregivers juggle support from multiple people—family, friends, neighbours, co-workers, and health care professionals—but they often don’t see the full picture or realize where the gap or pressure points are.
This interactive workshop will provide you with the knowledge and tools to introduce the CareMap Program in your own community or organization. You’ll gain a clear understanding of how the tool works, explore free resources designed to raise awareness of the CareMap Program, and learn practical strategies to help caregivers map their own support networks to help strengthen their circles of care.
