Pediatric Palliative Care Series

Developed in partnership with the Pediatric Palliative Care Alliance, this series is designed to build pediatric palliative care capacity within generalist settings. It aims to help non-palliative care and non-pediatric specialists feel more comfortable supporting children with serious illnesses and their families, connecting them with the knowledge, resources, and networks they need to provide compassionate care close to home.

Upcoming sessions include:

Enhancing Care Delivery: Principles and Practice of Perinatal Palliative Care: January 21, 2026, from 12 to 1 p.m. ET.

This session will introduce perinatal palliative care and practical strategies to strengthen support for infants and families. It will provide a comprehensive overview of how interdisciplinary teams can guide families facing life-limiting fetal or neonatal diagnoses by collaborating across care settings to provide consistent, holistic, and culturally sensitive care from pregnancy to end-of-life. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn more about key approaches in compassionate communication, anticipatory guidance, shared decision-making, birth planning, symptom management, and family-centred memory-making and legacy building.
