This session was held on November 6, 2023.
The Réseau québécois de recherche en soins palliatifs et de fin de vie (RQSPAL) was established in 2017 with funding from the Quebec Health Research Fund (FRQS). Over the past six years, RQSPAL has implemented numerous initiatives to enhance research capacity in Quebec. As the funding is set to expire in March 2024, a reflective and collaborative process involving RQSPAL members has led to the development of a strategic action plan spanning from 2024 to 2032.
The presentation will outline the process of reflection and collaboration that took place in 2022-2023, resulting in the formulation of the vision, objectives, and the various challenges that RQSPAL researchers aspire to address in order to optimize research and its impact in Quebec from 2024 to 2032. The evolution of this thematic network in palliative and end-of-life care represents the realization of interdisciplinary collaboration and the consolidation of research forces in a priority field.
